On March 16, 2002, a delegation of individuals sponsored by LATN* and CoCoDa** traveled to El Salvador. The purpose of the trip was to learn about and experience Salvadoran culture and customs, to become informed and educated regarding issues and processes affecting social and economic development in El Salvador, and to identify possible activities and actions that we could take individually or as a group or in concert with LATN, in order to support and promote positive change. An important part of our trip was also to visit Santa Marta, a village that was adopted by the church several years ago, and see how the people were doing with their new water distribution system and computer lab.
Attached to the date links below are some of the pictures that various travelers took. In the interest of getting the pictures up as quickly as possible, they're in a somewhat incomplete form, some pictures may not come up, and some links may be misdirected or missing. That is, these pages are "under construction," as the expression goes; check back from time to time for updates, corrections. Titles, descriptions, and stories that go with the pictures will come as soon as possible. If you have any suggestions or you see something that is incorrect or incomplete, please send an email to the webmaster***.
